RemoteFlight Server schema
This free utility is required to establish the connection between Flight Simulator and your device. RemoteFlight server is very lightweight and will not affect the performance of your Flight Simulator.


Windows

RemoteFlight Server

Current server version: 1.0.0.46

Windows installer
Installer of the latest version via Microsoft ClickOnce, will automatically install and does automatic updates.

Download standalone version (mirror 1)
Download standalone version (mirror 2)

Standalone version does not require installation, but you will have to download new versions by yourself. This is recommended for advanced users. Use this version when you have problems with ClickOnce installer.

You will also need FSUIPC library from Pete Dowson ( Available here )
FSUIPC registered version is NOT required - you can skip registration after install

If you are X-Plane pilot on Windows, use XPUIPC library( Available here )

Mac

The plugin is compiled for MacOS X 32bit/64bit
Please report issues to support@remoteflight.net with your X-Plane and operating system version and be as through as possible with description of the issue.

Antivirus warning

Note: Some antivirus suites have been reported to have caused trouble for users trying to install Remote Flight Server. Disable your antivirus temporarily prior to installing RemoteFlight Server to avoid possible issues. More info is available in our FAQ.

Server requirements

  • Microsoft Windows XP or later
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4 ( Available here or via Windows Update )
  • Compatible with various simulators (look below for details)
  • FSUIPC library from Pete Dowson ( Available here )
    Unregistered version of FSUIPC is sufficient for RemoteFlight Server.
    Make sure you install FSUIPC for all versions of FSX/P3D you wish to use.
  • X-Plane users must use XPUIPC ( Available here ) instead of FSUIPC

  • Flight Simulator X SP2 or Acceleration
  • Flight Simulator X : Steam Edition
  • Flight Simulator X retail
  • Flight Simulator X SP1 (not recommended)
  • Flight Simulator 2004 - Century of Flight (SP 9.1)
  • Lockheed Martin Prepar3D
  • X-Plane 9,10 and 11 on Windows (required XPUIPC version 2.0.0.0)
  • X-Plane 9, 10 and 11 on OS X/MacOS (see specific app compatibility panel for more info about X-Plane on MacOS X)
